Too many times, I've found myself sitting at home on the computer instead of outside enjoying the landscape and the people. I've found that if I think about the people in my life back in the US that I want to keep in my life, I have more ability to meet new people and experience new things. She noticed that there was this celebration called Mother's Day that everyone takes so seriously. All this so she can say that her daughters in America recognize that she is an American mother by proxy or something.
