My mother visited for a short time last spring, and she noticed something completely new, for her anyway. She noticed that there was this celebration called Mother's Day that everyone takes so seriously. Now she demands that she be treated like an American mother and have flowers and cards and calls and gifts sent to her. All this so she can say that her daughters in America recognize that she is an American mother by proxy or something. I tried many things before I sold my first house. The thing that did it was your flowers. I don't know if it was the showiness of the flowers or the homeyness or some good mojo, but whatever you do, keep on doing it. Ever since I sold my first house, I've been ordering flowers from you for every showing I've done. My rate is around 80% by the second weekend so far (but who's counting). Unlike many people here, I am doing OK because of my business, but I am not that OK that I can go out and buy the florist. The first time I ever received roses, I was still in high school. It was exciting and frightening all at the same time to get them from a boy. You know, I still get that same little twinge when my husband brings or sends me flowers. Don't take this the wrong way, but where he gets them from doesn't matter much to me. All I appreciate is the fact that he gives them to me. If you're the ones that are allowing this man - who I didn't know was a romantic - to be able to make my breath go a little faster, than I say thank you.
