I was first attracted to your site because of your descriptions of the flower meanings. I’m in the flower trade (OK, I’m a delivery guy), and I didn’t know half the stuff that was on there. Last year, I ended up getting daisies and ivy (marriage and loyal love) for my anniversary. I’m ashamed to say that I didn’t use your site to order. The ones I got were OK, but I felt a little guilty for not ordering from you. This year, I finally ordered that same combination from you. It was a special order, so I talked with one of your service people. I was impressed with them, but that’s not why I’m writing. There's something about giving flowers that makes it worthwhile to be friends with people. That sounded strange. But I guess in a way it's true. I was struck by this sentiment when I looked at how your website was organized. There are many different types of arrangements and many different arrangements within those types. It got me to thinking about how people react to flowers and how they react to the people who send them. I think you've tapped into something here, about how people react to flowers and in what context they receive them probably affects how they are received. Who invented Valentine's Day? He must have been some kind of genius. It's right in the middle of winter when we're all busy trying to keep the winter chill out of the house. I think it's because it's one day where we can forget about things like de-icing the driveway and block heaters and shoveling the sidewalk.
