How great was Mother's Day this year? I sent two, count 'em, two sets of roses to my mother this time. Once on the week before to announce my arrival, and once to arrive on Saturday at my hotel so I could bring them over. My father hates everything. Since my mother died ten years ago, he's been a terrible grump. I think it was hard on him more than anyone else. I had never given him flowers before, but I thought, what the heck, you know? His house is so dark and masculine. On their anniversary, I was over at his house when they were delivered.
