Our recent one-off musical performance of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers required the most astonishing number of flowers to be arranged on stage. Your flower delivery was early enough to give us plenty of time for dress rehearsal and iron out the various dance steps that would have been affected by the new flowers. Too many times, I've found myself sitting at home on the computer instead of outside enjoying the landscape and the people. I've found that if I think about the people in my life back in the US that I want to keep in my life, I have more ability to meet new people and experience new things. That's the whole reason why I took this job, was to experience a different culture. I want to let you know that you help me doing that, even if that's a selfish reason for sending flowers, it helps me think of the people that I want to keep in my life for when I go back, whenever that might be. The old codger will never admit it, but he appreciates the way they brighten up his dark, dank three-room cabin in the mountains. He gives me some song and dance about them being "good for the air quality" but I know he just likes them for how they look (kind of like he chose his last two wives... ahem...)
