It would be wonderful if we all got the wedding of our dreams, but alas, where I wanted to married at the botanical gardens, my father's budget dictated that we get married at the Elks Lodge. I'm not complaining, really. In fact, it worked out perfectly and everything went off without a hitch -- so I've been told. I understand you folks did the flowers and I wanted to tell you how well they all went over. I've been to weddings, and the flowers all seem to be in the background because they're so expected. Well, your flowers were just lovely enough to be a part of the whole scene and also understated enough not to overwhelm everyone. The wonder of flowers! My neighbor and I had been feuding for months, ever since my sycamore allegedly dropped all of its leaves onto their vegetable garden. It escalated from there, and one point the common fence was on fire. (Don't ask.) Anyway, my wife of all people, sent them flowers and then boom, it was over. We all sat down to lunch and had an interesting talk. I can't say that we're buddy buddy neighbors, but we no longer try and damage each other's property.(Hector V. , Birmingham AL )

I had screwed up every anniversary gift since we were married. Last year, I got my wife what she asked for... in the wrong size. That was a disaster. I thought flowers would be the safe choice this year. You know, nothing ostentatious or gaudy, just something small to say how much I appreciated being married to this wonderful woman. I'm very appreciative that your phone operator took the time to help me choose a bouquet. I didn't think it would get much of a reaction other than not letting me screw up another gift. But I got the warmest reception from a present that I ever got from her. I guess that wasn't too hard, since my other gifts really stunk it up, but I'm appreciative that you took the time to hold my hand through the process to get something really great. I don’t know who else to tell, so I’ll tell you. Our son was killed in Iraq this past year. The conflicting emotions I feel about this are unbearable. We were so distraught that we left most of the arrangements to my brother. He had the good sense to order the flower stands from you. which I never would have thought made a difference. My brother has never been one to display heartfelt emotion, but I felt it when those flowers were next to my son’s civilian coffin at the funeral home.
