It was the first gift to arrive and it was waiting for me in the room when we all got back. I am writing this on a palm computer in the hospital. I wanted to indicate my appreciation to you, and I am also feigning being busy with something while my mother-in-law is trying to talk to me about the correct raising of my child. It was a special order of white and yellow rosebuds, which my dad used to give to her every Saturday when they were dating. My fiancee and his friends, for some odd reason, decided to take a cross-country trip to California and back.
