The funeral for my uncle Saul was done during a week after the burial. I didn’t know this at the time, when I ordered the flowers. I found out too late, and I tried to think of every excuse I could to get those flower arrangements out of there at some point because I knew they would be, shall we say, not quite so fresh. But much to my amazement, they lasted the entire week. Even after the end of the week, my aunt took one of the white roses and put it in a vase before they removed the funeral arrangements. I admit I was nervous about ordering from an Internet company. But everything turned out OK. Better than OK, actually. I'm telling you this because the flower arrangement that I sent to my mother is still going strong after all these weeks. She has called me just about every other day since then. To tell you the truth, I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. But she mentions the flowers every time. They're just so impressive. There's one thing I've found about sending flowers. It has to be the right ones at the right time. There is a general understanding about what kinds of flowers mean what, so when I send red roses, I want it to mean love, and when I send white roses, I want it to mean friendship. When I send mixed colors... I'm not quite sure what that means yet, but I'll get it eventually. My point here is that I am grateful you get everything, every order right. There was one time when I meant to send white roses and the place sent red. I mean, is that right? To this I say NO. You should know that your efforts are appreciated. I wanted to tell you that I ordered flowers for my cousin's birthday in Saõ Paulo, Brazil. Our family has always been very close, and I've been working in the U.S. for a very long time. How come when I order from you folks I always seem to get things that are better than anyone else?
