Here is your chance to learn how to make a floral design and the best part is you get to keep what you make. ! Impress your friends and family!

In 1979 Wesley Berry established the Professional Florists' Institute. This vocational school is licensed by the State of Michigan to teach floral design. We have taught over 2,000 students and today many of them are professional floral designers.

Over the years, people have asked us to offer a class for those that are only interested in floral design as a hobby or for enrichment. In response we have developed our FLOWER PARTIES. It's just a fun time out with your friends. Meet people in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere where you can learn to create a beautiful, fresh flower arrangement to take home. It's a brand new concept. Flower Parties are for adults and/or children and can be tailored to your needs.

The FLOWER PARTIES are conducted at Wesley Berry Flowers located at 6677 Orchard Lake Road in West Bloomfield.

Perfect for birthday celebrations. Nurturing the creative energy of young children can produce surprising results. Rest assured our staff has lots of experience with children. We've developed a fun, entertaining and enjoyable way to draw out the natural curiosity and creativity that all children possess.

• Minimum participating children 8
• Maximum participating children 16

Each child will create their own flower arrangement the design of which will vary depending upon the age of the children. The arrangements will be made in a wicker basket with 2 balloons, fresh flowers and ribbons.

Basic arrangement packages cost $15 dollars per child.

Deluxe arrangement packages cost $20 dollars per child and include a small Teddy Bear.

A Birthday cake of fresh flowers can also be created as part of a demonstration that involves the children's participation.If you chose to have refreshments like cake and/or pizza that's fine with us however you will need to provide that on your own. We are happy to offer refrigeration for any necessary items.If you would like to bring your own special decorations that will be fine too.

Having a PRIVATE FLOWER PARTY is easy, fun and simple. Great for any occasion such as showers, birthdays or simply a ladies night-out. The hostess selects the floral designs she would like to make up and we do the rest. At the party you will have an experienced Master Floral Designer teach you and your guests how to create a fantastic arrangement. Designs you select could be Traditional, Contemporary, Oriental, or European to name just a few. Choose from Exotic flowers, Hydrangeas and more. Whatever you prefer. You'll have the time of your life and you'll learn enough to recreate the design on your own.

• Minimum participants 4
• Maximum participants 16

The cost will vary depending upon the design you chose. Prices range from $25 to $50 dollars per person. The Hostess must place a $50 dollar non refundable deposit to book a date and is responsible for collecting from the other guests. The Hostess will receive a $35 dollar gift certificate that can be use towards future purchase but not towards the cost of the party. With parties of six or more a second $35 dollar gift certificate will be used as a door prize.

We provide everything except refreshments. You are welcome to bring them if you like. We will be happy to provide refrigeration for any necessary items. If you would like to provide special decorations we will gladly put them up for you.
