Though I am far away from my friends, it's nice to know that I can let them know I am thinking about them in a time of sadness and loss. Flowers are so much more tactile and have more substance than cards or electronic messages, like they are stand-ins for you. It's something they can move around and focus on in order to get the kind of feeling that I hope I would provide were I there. I'm glad that you can help me express my sympathy for the family in this way and that I can do it much more easily than if I were to go there myself. There are two reasons I don’t order online. I’m always afraid I’ll click on the wrong thing, and something will get sent to an unsuspecting family in Siberia. And I don’t trust someone I can’t see. I have ordered flowers from online before, but I think I like yours the best. The vase is the clincher for me. The roses were great like I expected, but the vase was very nice and I can use it again for other things.
