Finally, it dawned on me, the flowers were wholly inappropriate for the setting. They were the whole color, the wrong style, and too ostentatious for the scene. I found out that the person in our family who normally orders the flowers (from you) had asked someone else to do it this time, and he ordered from someone else. OK. I have to tell someone about this. I was in the running for a good job at a reputable company. After a series of interviews that went OK but not spectacular, the recruiter told me I was a finalist out of five people. I’ve never done this before, but my mother told me to send flowers. I thought, what the heck? So I did. I skiffed over to your site and sent everyone who interviewed me a small bouquet as a thank you. About a week later, I got the job. Now, I’d like to think that it was my stellar experience and mad skills that got me the job, but I’m glad that those flowers may have given an extra push to the people on the interviewing committee. I like that you have a world-wide reach with your delivery services. Being hooked into FTD couldn't hurt with that, right? I work with people all over the world, so it's important that I get whatever to wherever. If that means going with a different package delivery company than I use for domestic because it's more convenient, then fine. But I find that I don't do that with the gifts that I send, normally flowers. I notice that I use you folks wherever I need to send something. I guess I fell into the habit when I realized that you have handled every order I've ever thrown at you with grace and capability.
