There's one thing I've found about sending flowers. It has to be the right ones at the right time. There is a general understanding about what kinds of flowers mean what, so when I send red roses, I want it to mean love, and when I send white roses, I want it to mean friendship. When I send mixed colors... I'm not quite sure what that means yet, but I'll get it eventually. My point here is that I am grateful you get everything, every order right. I was in the USA recently, and I discovered the tradition of Thanksgiving. It's such a wonderful time to take the summer and autumn harvest and put it to good use for family that visits. I was interested to see how my American friends celebrated, and from what I understand, there is a turkey and potatoes and that's about what the similarities are between families. I like the idea of having a major holiday before Christmas that kind of celebrates autumn and all its colors. I was also impressed with the flowers. I understand that not everyone includes flowers as part of the holiday, but if my friends are any indication, everyone should have flowers. OK. I have to tell someone about this. I was in the running for a good job at a reputable company. After a series of interviews that went OK but not spectacular, the recruiter told me I was a finalist out of five people. I’ve never done this before, but my mother told me to send flowers. I thought, what the heck? So I did. I skiffed over to your site and sent everyone who interviewed me a small bouquet as a thank you. About a week later, I got the job. Now, I’d like to think that it was my stellar experience and mad skills that got me the job, but I’m glad that those flowers may have given an extra push to the people on the interviewing committee.
