The funeral for my uncle Saul was done during a week after the burial. I didn’t know this at the time, when I ordered the flowers. I found out too late, and I tried to think of every excuse I could to get those flower arrangements out of there at some point because I knew they would be, shall we say, not quite so fresh. But much to my amazement, they lasted the entire week. Even after the end of the week, my aunt took one of the white roses and put it in a vase before they removed the funeral arrangements. I visited my father in the hospital this morning and was stunned to see that my flowers had arrived before I had. I know I had asked them to be delivered in the early morning, but really! There was a snowstorm and not even the phones were working. I didn't even know they had arrived until a couple of days later when my friend called around to let everyone know she was OK. I have a long list of people that I like to give stuff to, and it's the best way to keep stay connected with my friends from high school. You can e-mail and message people, but that's just words a lot of times. I'm glad I was wrong about you, and I'm glad my assistant was right. I don't know if your partnership with FTD was responsible for that (I don't think that really has much to do with it).
