Valentine's Day has special significance in our house because it was the day that we closed escrow six years ago. It was a very trying time, trying to sell a house and buy a house at the same time. The way my family celebrates Christmas, you would think it was Festivus. My dad always tries to challenge someone to wrestle and we have a tinsel lined pole in the back yard that I used to practice tetherball on. I don't know if my parents have developed a sense of humor or we're all really warped. I'm glad I was able to bring some semblance of normalcy into Christmas, though, with the flowers that I sent ahead of time. I’ve tried lots of different flower delivery companies to send bunches to my family in Hong Kong. Though it has been largely hit-and-miss, I thought you should know that your flowers were most definitely a hit.
