I know you can't see it, but there's a big smile on my face because I finally got my father to break his long silence to my brother. They haven't seen eye to eye for years and have spoken in at least that long. My fiancee and his friends, for some odd reason, decided to take a cross-country trip to California and back. She didn’t like a big show, and I always thought she would have disapproved of them. Unfortunately, my mother died this year.
