All this so she can say that her daughters in America recognize that she is an American mother by proxy or something. I guess I always thought that sending flowers from different places was all the same. You're all hooked into that FTD thing, aren't you? It seems strange to me that here in the tropics it can be trouble to find some kinds of flowers. But it's just like up there in the US with tropical flowers. Sometimes you need cold weather to grow some of these varieties of roses and asters. It's interesting the differences that climate makes. I like to order from you because you are so reliable and have a diverse selection. I also like that I can order from you when I'm down here and you're up there. My cousin told me that some flowers went to the house, and some went to the funeral home, and one went to the hospital, even after my uncle had died. Well, yours was one of the ones that got to the right place, and it was nice to hear that the flowers were comforting to the family. The flowers I sent to my son and daughter-in-law for a congratulations on purchasing a new house actually got there. I mistakenly sent them to the new house address without thinking about escrow and even move-in time. I couldn't be there in person because I'm overseas, so I had to suffer through a night of thinking, "what did I forget?" It didn't hit me until my son called to say they were very appreciative of the flowers I sent. It was then that I remembered giving the wrong address on the form, and I became more confused because they actually got delivered to the right place. I'm bursting with pride at my kids being able to afford houses and I'm also red in the face because I can't even figure out where they are now!
