I don’t usually comment on things I’ve ordered like this. Or usually it’s just to complain. I wanted you to know that I didn’t have much expectations when I ordered. But what I got knocked my socks off. The sunflower cornucopia was for a table centerpiece for dinner. I got so many comments on it, I was so pleased! Is there some kind of large population of patient souls where you get your customer service people from? Do they also babysit for a trio of tiny terrors (ages: 3, 6, & 8)? I must have been on the phone with this person (I forget her name, sorry!) for at least a half an hour trying to order a simple flower arrangement and I have to chase around my terrors (I mean: lovely children) at the same time. I would never have thought to send flowers to my brother to congratulate him on getting a new job. Before I sent him flowers, I wouldn't have suspected that he liked getting them. Maybe he wouldn't have suspected that either. But that was his day when he first went to work. He had the flowers right in front of him as he described the view from his office window. I've often found myself only using FTD for sending flowers just because they seem to be very reputable, and I've never had any problems. I wanted to tell you that the orchids I sent my mother in the hospital really lifted her spirits. She was thrilled to see them because she has orchids at home that she hasn't seen in almost a month. They couldn't be moved, but I wanted to give her something that reminded her of home. They were delivered in the morning, and I was able to visit her in the early evening.
