I just sent some Valentine's Day roses to someone I've been admiring from afar for a while now. As I am writing this they are on route to him, and I don't know how he's going to react. I don't know if it's such a good idea that you have same day delivery, because it doesn't give me a chance to think everything through before things start to happen. I'm getting ahead of myself, I know, but I can't help it. I have all of this nervous energy, wondering what the reaction will be. I wanted to tell you that there's a new mother that appreciated the delivery of flowers to her bedside. My granddaughter entered the world last week. Sadly, the father could not be there because he's in Afghanistan. I saw the flowers arrive, and I saw the gleam in my daughter's eyes because she knew instantly who they were from. I saw the card and I thought I would share this with you because I was a little surprised that someone in Afghanistan could order flowers that look as nice as these.
