The first time I ever received roses, I was still in high school. It was exciting and frightening all at the same time to get them from a boy. They both have the same visual theme of the red crossing through the white field, but the two of them together at the funeral said just the right thing without having to use any words. After five years of marriage, I started to notice that things had slowed down considerably. I like the comfort of being in a relationship, but I also like the romance also.
