Thank you for helping my sister-in-law celebrate her 30th birthday in style. She's never really been a part of our family in any meaningful way, even though she tries I think my brother has managed to shield her from much of the family nonsense that might help bring us closer. He died after a long, lingering illness, so it wasn’t a shock, but we wanted to think of it as an end to his suffering.
