I’m appreciative of the lengths you went to in order to resolve a credit card problem. It was partly my fault for waiting till the last minute in order to get my wife flowers for our anniversary. I was a little stressed about it being such a time crunch and my credit card problem, and I yelled at your customer service person. I apologize. I thank you for putting some joy into the life of one of my closest friends. Sadly, she passed away from cancer recently much too young. The flowers that were delivered to her hospice always brightened her day no matter what her mood was. I tried to visit with her as often as I could, but busy lives often get in the way of such relationships. The flowers she received had no such problems, though. She often said that it was as if I were there, and she would talk to the flowers as if they were me. The way my family celebrates Christmas, you would think it was Festivus. My dad always tries to challenge someone to wrestle and we have a tinsel lined pole in the back yard that I used to practice tetherball on. I don't know if my parents have developed a sense of humor or we're all really warped. I'm glad I was able to bring some semblance of normalcy into Christmas, though, with the flowers that I sent ahead of time. This may sound a little silly, but I hope it doesn't. My best friend's cat died over the weekend, and I couldn't think of anything to do for her being so far away with work and all. The best thing I could think of was to send a nice sympathy bouquet. I know how close she was to that cat, and I didn't really know how to say that in words. So I let the flowers do the talking, just to let her know that I was there for her. She did eventually share her feelings with me, and I'm glad I could help.
