I don't know what I was thinking. I like to wander around when I go shopping, and the other day I happened into a florist, who had a special on a spring arrangement of irises and tulips. Though I often use your services for flower delivery, I was taken in by the price, and I sent some to my friend in Vancouver because she's going through a rough time right now. Well, I think you spoiled me for flowers, because I got a call from her when they arrived. She's didn't say anything bad about it, but I could tell from the tone in her voice that they weren't exactly glowing with radiance. Hmmmm, I thought. About a month later, things were still bad for her, so I decided to use you to send them (because I happened to be at home when I thought of it). The results were telling. She went on and on about how your flowers were so much better than the previous ones. She thought it could have been the time of year that accounted for the difference, but I knew better. I was struck by this sentiment when I looked at how your website was organized. There are many different types of arrangements and many different arrangements within those types. It got me to thinking about how people react to flowers and how they react to the people who send them. I think you've tapped into something here, about how people react to flowers and in what context they receive them probably affects how they are received. It would be wonderful if we all got the wedding of our dreams, but alas, where I wanted to married at the botanical gardens, my father's budget dictated that we get married at the Elks Lodge. I'm not complaining, really. In fact, it worked out perfectly and everything went off without a hitch -- so I've been told. I understand you folks did the flowers and I wanted to tell you how well they all went over. I've been to weddings, and the flowers all seem to be in the background because they're so expected. Well, your flowers were just lovely enough to be a part of the whole scene and also understated enough not to overwhelm everyone. Thanks for taking my order and running with it. I ordered the tower of fruit basket to send to my sister in the States. In St. Louis, actually. I know there is a problem with sending produce from country to country, but from what I understand of FTD and other wire services, you actually do all of your business within the country of delivery. I think this is a major benefit of delivery services like yours, and I think this is a very good reason to send gifts this way.
