I have to complain a little bit. The picture on your website did not do the flower arrangement justice, and it looked like I spent more on my step-mother's Mother's Day present than on my mother's present. I like that you can add extras to the arrangements you send for a reasonable charge. I sent the Butterfly Basket and added a balloon onto it for my best friend's birthday. The first time I ever received roses, I was still in high school. It was exciting and frightening all at the same time to get them from a boy. You know, I still get that same little twinge when my husband brings or sends me flowers. Don't take this the wrong way, but where he gets them from doesn't matter much to me. All I appreciate is the fact that he gives them to me. If you're the ones that are allowing this man - who I didn't know was a romantic - to be able to make my breath go a little faster, than I say thank you. I felt kind of weird at first ordering flower displays for a funeral over the Internet. It's interesting what kind of preconceptions we have about such things. I was always under the impression that it would somehow "mean more" if I were to do that in person at a flower shop. Well, I went to a number of flower shops before going online to order from you, and it didn't feel right getting the hard-sell from them. That might be unfair because they're in business to sell flowers, but still, that's how I felt. I wasn't all that close with my Uncle Tommy, but it's sad when anyone dies, so I can only imagine how someone must feel talking to salespeople who are constantly trying to "sell them up" to more and more expensive pieces. I don't mean to sound like I dislike salespeople. But it's just easier in the long run to come to these decisions on your own. I just wanted to say that the bouquet I ordered for my parents’ anniversary arrived right on time and touched my mother to tears. It was a special order of white and yellow rosebuds, which my dad used to give to her every Saturday when they were dating.
