Valentine's Day this year was very special. I asked my boyfriend to marry me, and after the initial shock, he said yes. I ordered several rose sprays to be delivered to his office, his apartment, and his mother's house. Then he knew something was up, and I popped him with the question. My business, at bottom, is about persuasion, and if my persuasive powers are undermined by a poorly delivered PR gift, then I look bad, which makes you look bad.
