My father hates everything. Since my mother died ten years ago, he's been a terrible grump. I think it was hard on him more than anyone else. As a busy working couple my husband and I don’t often have time to spend together outside of evenings and weekends. The flower delivery to my office last Thursday took me totally by surprise and I must admit to shedding a brief tear of joy, although I won’t be telling that to my staff! Good gracious! Just about everything went wrong with my sister's wedding. It was her third marriage, and I don't know what she was expecting mixing her dogs in the ceremony with the swans in a makeshift pool. It might have been funnier if I wasn't trying to hold it all together. Maybe I'll laugh about it someday. I wanted to tell you that despite the various disasters, your flowers came through with flying colors. It was something that I and the guests and the wedding party could all fix our hopes on for the day and it just about saved everyone from a total breakdown.
