I've found that if I think about the people in my life back in the US that I want to keep in my life, I have more ability to meet new people and experience new things. That's the whole reason why I took this job, was to experience a different culture. AAAAARRRGHHHH! I write to you to tell you that on my latest birthday present to my friend, who lives in Ireland, I used a different florist. I usually use you guys, but I saw a special on someone else’s website. It was special all right. It was meant for especially dumb people. I couldn’t believe it. Not only did it arrive late -- IT WAS THE WRONG ORDER! Okay. I’ve learned my lesson. No more flirting with other flower delivery companies. I’m using you guys for good.(Gigi M., Waterbury CT )

The whole wedding party just about broke down in tears when the bride walked in with her swanlike bouquet of long-stemmed white roses. I hope that doesn't sound flip. I always thought a bouquet in a wedding was gardening flowers - daisies, maybe wild roses, dahlias, you know, like that. But all roses? I never would have ordered them if it was up to me, but she really wanted them. I wouldn't have though of it, but they were really spectacular. My recently bereaved son is an artist and appreciates the inner as well as the outer beauty of most objects. For his birthday we gave him a nice bunch of flowers to liven up his studio and all he could do was start painting them.
