OK. I have to tell someone about this. I was in the running for a good job at a reputable company. After a series of interviews that went OK but not spectacular, the recruiter told me I was a finalist out of five people. I’ve never done this before, but my mother told me to send flowers. She noticed that there was this celebration called Mother's Day that everyone takes so seriously. All this so she can say that her daughters in America recognize that she is an American mother by proxy or something.
