I just wanted to say that the bouquet I ordered for my parents’ anniversary arrived right on time and touched my mother to tears. It was a special order of white and yellow rosebuds, which my dad used to give to her every Saturday when they were dating. I'm telling you this because the flower arrangement that I sent to my mother is still going strong after all these weeks. She has called me just about every other day since then. To tell you the truth, I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. But she mentions the flowers every time. They're just so impressive. If there's a better way to get a woman to be initially impressed with you than flowers, I'd love to see it, because it would knock my socks off. I think men have a problem seeing this. I have heard a number of men say something to the effect of "They're just flowers, they don't do anything and they'll die too soon." I'd like to correct any misinterpretation that every man out there may have about sending flowers. These are not valid reasons for not giving flowers. I don't get it.
