There's one thing I've found about sending flowers. It has to be the right ones at the right time. There is a general understanding about what kinds of flowers mean what, so when I send red roses, I want it to mean love, and when I send white roses, I want it to mean friendship. When I send mixed colors... I'm not quite sure what that means yet, but I'll get it eventually. My point here is that I am grateful you get everything, every order right. There was one time when I meant to send white roses and the place sent red. I mean, is that right? To this I say NO. You should know that your efforts are appreciated. My younger brother has always felt like he was kind of the forgotten child in the family. He's the youngest of seven, and was the last to do everything. But he was the first to receive your flowers when I sent them to him for his birthday. It just made his day. What a great idea to pair sunflowers and yellow roses. I never would have thought of that. I forwarded a couple of those to a house I was trying to sell, and I got more comments on them than I did on the gorgeous stained-glass window over the entryway. If there's a better way to get a woman to be initially impressed with you than flowers, I'd love to see it, because it would knock my socks off. I think men have a problem seeing this. I have heard a number of men say something to the effect of "They're just flowers, they don't do anything and they'll die too soon." I'd like to correct any misinterpretation that every man out there may have about sending flowers. These are not valid reasons for not giving flowers. I don't get it. Do they come to these conclusions because they just don't talk to women at all? Flowers are the best way to impress a woman. Please re-read that last sentence. (Sarah U., Weirton WV )

Here in France, they celebrate Mother's Day at the end of the month in May instead of in the middle, so I have to remember to keep on my toes around April.
