Sheesh, you'd think someone would take the hint and at least send me something. I've always been ambivalent about Valentine's Day, mostly because nothing ever happened. It's only recently that I've been in a serious relationship that has lasted through Valentine's Day, so maybe that has something to do with it. In any event, this last Valentine's, I was actually in a relationship, so I wondered what would happen. Societal attitudes, I guess. I got her some candy, and she got me some flowers. But not just any flowers. They were these eye-popping spring flowers with full fragrance and very pretty. Of course, they were your flowers, which is why I'm writing to you. I know it was my girlfriend that sent them to me, but I'm glad they lived up to everything I've ever heard about Valentine's, and then some.(Fiona F. , Bakersfield CA )

I don't know if you have any idea how much your flowers mean to people. How many people who receive flowers act like my mother and shed a tear and how many give you a hug like my father? You bring a lot of happiness in the world by translating what people feel into something others can hold onto and see and smell (and taste, I guess if they wanted).
