My great-grandmother’s funeral was much more sober than any other funeral I’ve been to (to many of them), and I couldn’t figure out why. Finally, it dawned on me, the flowers were wholly inappropriate for the setting. They were the whole color, the wrong style, and too ostentatious for the scene. I found out that the person in our family who normally orders the flowers (from you) had asked someone else to do it this time, and he ordered from someone else. While I don’t blame this other company entirely for the inappropriateness of the flowers - because he’s pretty much a dullard about these things - I am positive that had he ordered from you things would have been different.(Ellie O. , Lewiston ME )

I appreciate that in the flower world FTD is like the phone company, so every florist has to use it. But I'd like to say that I think you guys are different. Because of some credit card issues, I used more than one flower delivery company to order some accent flowers for a Christmas family celebration. I was stunned at the differences between the flowers I ordered from other sites and the flowers I ordered from yours. Here in France, they celebrate Mother's Day at the end of the month in May instead of in the middle, so I have to remember to keep on my toes around April. I know you can't see it, but there's a big smile on my face because I finally got my father to break his long silence to my brother. They haven't seen eye to eye for years and have spoken in at least that long. I was able to get them together for my birthday, and the way I convinced them to come was to send each of them a note from me along with bouquets of flowers. It was the last thing I could think of to do, because these are not normally two men who would be affected by flowers.
