I wish someone had told me about you earlier. I don’t like talking about this, but the flowers at my grandmother’s funeral last year were unnecessarily gaudy. She noticed that there was this celebration called Mother's Day that everyone takes so seriously. All this so she can say that her daughters in America recognize that she is an American mother by proxy or something.
