I'm glad that you can help me express my sympathy for the family in this way and that I can do it much more easily than if I were to go there myself. It seems strange to me that here in the tropics it can be trouble to find some kinds of flowers. But it's just like up there in the US with tropical flowers. Sometimes you need cold weather to grow some of these varieties of roses and asters. It's interesting the differences that climate makes. The roses were great like I expected, but the vase was very nice and I can use it again for other things.
