My father hates everything. Since my mother died ten years ago, he's been a terrible grump. I think it was hard on him more than anyone else. But much to my amazement, they lasted the entire week. Even after the end of the week, my aunt took one of the white roses and put it in a vase before they removed the funeral arrangements.
