If there's a better way to send flowers, I would be frightened to see it, because the level of customer service you provide can be downright scary. In a good way.(Dorrie E. , Bristol TN )

Flowers are sometimes the most powerful message you can send someone. Just the fact of getting some roses causes people to change their minds, change their jobs, change their lives. I received a dozen roses from a certain lady friend a while back, and I'm not ashamed to say that I was moved. Though I can't say for certain why I was so affected by her act, I can say that I returned the favor. We both used your services, so for that I thank you. From one old Marine who didn't realize he would have this kind of response to simple flowers.(Dionne E. , Sumter SC )

My mother visited for a short time last spring, and she noticed something completely new, for her anyway. She noticed that there was this celebration called Mother's Day that everyone takes so seriously. Now she demands that she be treated like an American mother and have flowers and cards and calls and gifts sent to her. All this so she can say that her daughters in America recognize that she is an American mother by proxy or something. She's funny about things like that, but I guess it's always a good thing to make your mother happy with something so simple.(Adrienne I. , Yerevan , Armenia)

It's not easy to trust that things will happen when you click those little icons on the screen. It doesn't seem like the real world when you do that. I just want to tell people that I can vouch for your website. I've tried it and it works fine. The flowers were lovely and the delivery was professional. Whatever you're doing, keep on doing it.(Alicia S. , Altoona PA )

If anyone gets to read this, please listen to me: FLOWERS MAKE A DIFFERENCE. I won't go into detail about why I needed to send flowers to my wife, but let's just say that she forgave me on the spot and our marriage is better for it. (Niles O. , Greeley CO )

Re: the sunflower arrangement. I don’t think you meant for this to be an anniversary thing, but I really liked it and I thought my husband might, too. He’s not a flowers person, but it went over well. Thanks.(Margaret I., Greenville SC )

I admit I have a problem about this. I am out of control. Flowers sent to people as get well presents who have nothing but a common cold. In almost all cases, the flowers last much longer than the illness. But it's so easy and it makes everyone feel so much better, even when they're feeling miserable. This year's flu season wasn't quite as bad as last year, but still many people got flowers from me just because they weren't feeling well. It's just something I do that makes me feel good and helps them feel better. Thank you.(Andrea U., Monessen PA )

I would like to thank you for the flowers that you send to my brother. He works in a big building in Santiago that has usually a lot of delivering mistakes. I was very worried about the flowers that I sent to him. But the person on the phone assured me it would be OK. I was still worried. Until I got the message that the flowers were delivered to the right place. My brother was so surprised, he could not stop laughing at me for sending him flowers. He said no one has ever given him something so beautiful. I have been in the US for a long time. This was like extending a hand to him from the other part of the world. Thank you.(Donna J., Evansville IN )

Exeter Rhode Island Funeral Homes

As a society, we tend to send flowers out of feelings of guilt for not being in a place we would normally be. Before the advent of automobiles and airplanes, we wouldn't stray too far from home (except in a few cases), and so we didn't have a need for sending gifts through the mail, or the Internet, or using FTD, or some other wire service. But we are products of our times, and because even nuclear families are so far flung, and because husbands and wives often live and work on different continents from one another, we have this need to send gifts to one anther in lieu of being there. What we're acknowledging is that we usually do what we can to make compromises between how we would like to live and how we would like to be close to one another. It's apparently socially acceptable to be apart like this as long as we can send each other things that remind us of this emotional connection even though there's no physical connection. ROCK ON, BROTHER!!!(Rey V. , Nagoya , Japan)
