I don't know if it was the showiness of the flowers or the homeyness or some good mojo, but whatever you do, keep on doing it. Ever since I sold my first house, I've been ordering flowers from you for every showing I've done. My rate is around 80% by the second weekend so far (but who's counting). I'm glad that you can help me express my sympathy for the family in this way and that I can do it much more easily than if I were to go there myself. Valentine's Day has special significance in our house because it was the day that we closed escrow six years ago. It was a very trying time, trying to sell a house and buy a house at the same time. My mother brought us a unique combination of roses and lilies that I hadn't remembered seeing before. It was so special for us and for her. She's no longer with us, but my husband now has taken over sending flowers to me from work: roses and lilies in the same flower arrangement. I was so sick to hear of my sister-in-law's mother. She died of emphysema. It wasn't exactly unexpected, but it was still a shock to the family. My brother has taken it a bit hard also. I really wish I could have been there, but circumstances prevented. I was glad that I could at least be able to send flowers to their house. They were very gracious about them and I think my brother was most pleased.
