It was the first gift to arrive and it was waiting for me in the room when we all got back. I am writing this on a palm computer in the hospital. The “broken heart” flower stand arrangement was just perfect for my brother’s funeral. He died after a long, lingering illness, so it wasn’t a shock, but we wanted to think of it as an end to his suffering.
