Valentine's Day has special significance in our house because it was the day that we closed escrow six years ago. It was a very trying time, trying to sell a house and buy a house at the same time. My mother brought us a unique combination of roses and lilies that I hadn't remembered seeing before. It was so special for us and for her. She's no longer with us, but my husband now has taken over sending flowers to me from work: roses and lilies in the same flower arrangement. I don't know what the fuss is all about when flowers are delivered on-time. I read through some of your testimonials, and it seems like people are grateful when a company actually does what it says it's going to do. Well, I'm not buying into it. Delivering flowers is delivering flowers, and for that your company should be at the very most proud of accomplishing what you set out to do. The flowers I sent to my son and daughter-in-law for a congratulations on purchasing a new house actually got there. I mistakenly sent them to the new house address without thinking about escrow and even move-in time. I couldn't be there in person because I'm overseas, so I had to suffer through a night of thinking, "what did I forget?" It didn't hit me until my son called to say they were very appreciative of the flowers I sent. It was then that I remembered giving the wrong address on the form, and I became more confused because they actually got delivered to the right place. I'm bursting with pride at my kids being able to afford houses and I'm also red in the face because I can't even figure out where they are now! I have dealt with certain delivery companies before who could not handle a slight discrepancy in the address with any smarts at all. It seems like if two numbers in a zipcode are transposed, it stops them in their tracks and they delay a couple days and charge you half again as much. I admit that I sometimes get zipcodes wrong. My memory isn’t what it used to be. But someone over there recognized the mistake I made on a flower delivery and it didn’t slow them down a whit. I wish I knew who it was, because I would thank them from an old woman, so I’m saying thank you to you for possibly training your flower delivery people that way.(Bonita R., Houma LA )
