On the occasion of her first apartment by herself, her mother and I sent her a couple of arrangements of you more colorful flowers & baskets. My daughter was nearly in tears as she thanked us for what was for her an unexpected gift. The whole wedding party just about broke down in tears when the bride walked in with her swanlike bouquet of long-stemmed white roses. I hope that doesn't sound flip. I always thought a bouquet in a wedding was gardening flowers - daisies, maybe wild roses, dahlias, you know, like that. But all roses? I never would have ordered them if it was up to me, but she really wanted them. I wouldn't have though of it, but they were really spectacular. I like the idea of the FTD Gift Basket because it means that I can send something truly wonderful without having to make any strenuous choices about what to send.
