My wife gave me the third degree about sending her flowers "just because." Being a woman, she immediately suspected that I was having an affair. When I asked her why she would possibly suspect that, she answered that those flowers were 100 times nicer than anything else I've ever given her. So what's up with that, people? Thank you for getting everything about my Mother's Day flower order right. My mother-in-law is a (ahem) terror about her relationship with my husband. I know the flowers that I sent to her probably won't change that. But my father-in-law called to say that her wife absolutely went gaga over them. Even she couldn't find flaws with how they were delivered or how they looked or the thought behind them. This could have only happened if you got everything right.
