I don’t know who else to tell, so I’ll tell you. Our son was killed in Iraq this past year. The conflicting emotions I feel about this are unbearable. We were so distraught that we left most of the arrangements to my brother. He had the good sense to order the flower stands from you. which I never would have thought made a difference. My brother has never been one to display heartfelt emotion, but I felt it when those flowers were next to my son’s civilian coffin at the funeral home. My father died after a long bout with cancer. I wasn’t in the right frame of mind to make any sort of arrangements, so my husband did most of them. Looking back, I could see that he was upset also, and he’s not exactly the arbiter of taste that he thinks he is when he’s in the right frame of mind. After five years of marriage, I started to notice that things had slowed down considerably. I like the comfort of being in a relationship, but I also like the romance also. I came across your website by accident while looking for a place to vacation (long story), and I thought why do we need to take a vacation when we could just have each other and do something different where we are? I sent my husband a very feminine flower basket at work just to embarrass him and get him thinking about how much I have affected his life and his mine.
