This Valentine's Day thing has me a little confused, but I suppose having an American girlfriend obligates me to follow those customs. I found your website to help me with this little conundrum, but I still don't exactly get it, I guess. My great-grandmother’s funeral was much more sober than any other funeral I’ve been to (to many of them), and I couldn’t figure out why. Finally, it dawned on me, the flowers were wholly inappropriate for the setting. They were the whole color, the wrong style, and too ostentatious for the scene.
