Sheesh, you'd think someone would take the hint and at least send me something. I have this feeling that I’m helping my mother build an FTD greenhouse. I sent her a plant last year and it’s still alive. That in itself is a miracle. Now, for the first time in my life, she’s actually requested what kind of present she wants for her birthday. She wants another plant. A DIFFERENT plant from last year. The first time I ever received roses, I was still in high school. It was exciting and frightening all at the same time to get them from a boy.
