About a week ago for our anniversary, I gave my wife diamond earrings, a nice dinner out and a basket of your roses. Can you believe that she hasn’t stopped talking about the flowers? I got her diamond earrings for crying out loud! I have to hand it to you guys, you really did a good job. My father died after a long bout with cancer. I wasn’t in the right frame of mind to make any sort of arrangements, so my husband did most of them. Looking back, I could see that he was upset also, and he’s not exactly the arbiter of taste that he thinks he is when he’s in the right frame of mind. So when the flowers arrived for the funeral, I was struck by how understated and tasteful they were, entirely appropriate for the occasion.
