Mother's Day is one of those days where it seems I have too many mothers. I have to send something to my step-mother, my grandmother, my step-grandmother, my grandmother on my father's side, my sister (who is a new mom), my mother (of course), and my god-mother. I’m not one to take credit for the efforts of others, but I’ll admit to a little cheating. When people ask where I got those magnificent arrangements of flowers, I tell them that I did them myself. I admit I was nervous about ordering from an Internet company. But everything turned out OK. Better than OK, actually. I'm telling you this because the flower arrangement that I sent to my mother is still going strong after all these weeks. She has called me just about every other day since then. To tell you the truth, I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. But she mentions the flowers every time. They're just so impressive.
