The first time I ever received roses, I was still in high school. It was exciting and frightening all at the same time to get them from a boy. You know, I still get that same little twinge when my husband brings or sends me flowers. Don't take this the wrong way, but where he gets them from doesn't matter much to me. All I appreciate is the fact that he gives them to me. If you're the ones that are allowing this man - who I didn't know was a romantic - to be able to make my breath go a little faster, than I say thank you. My work doesn't allow for a whole lot of a social life, or any other type of life to speak of, but I occasionally do get to send flowers back to Chicago. I have a lot of people around me, but it can be kind of lonely as the only American working in this office. I love my job, but I sometimes miss following sports and talking to American girls.
