I was first attracted to your site because of your descriptions of the flower meanings. I’m in the flower trade (OK, I’m a delivery guy), and I didn’t know half the stuff that was on there. I admit I have a problem about this. I am out of control. Flowers sent to people as get well presents who have nothing but a common cold. In almost all cases, the flowers last much longer than the illness. But it's so easy and it makes everyone feel so much better, even when they're feeling miserable. This year's flu season wasn't quite as bad as last year, but still many people got flowers from me just because they weren't feeling well. Good gracious! Just about everything went wrong with my sister's wedding. It was her third marriage, and I don't know what she was expecting mixing her dogs in the ceremony with the swans in a makeshift pool. It might have been funnier if I wasn't trying to hold it all together. Maybe I'll laugh about it someday. I wanted to tell you that despite the various disasters, your flowers came through with flying colors. It was something that I and the guests and the wedding party could all fix our hopes on for the day and it just about saved everyone from a total breakdown.
