There's one thing I've found about sending flowers. It has to be the right ones at the right time. There is a general understanding about what kinds of flowers mean what, so when I send red roses, I want it to mean love, and when I send white roses, I want it to mean friendship. This is a strange story, I know, but I had to get flowers not just to an address, but to a specific location within that address. Worst of all, it wasn't marked anywhere. My cousin is a stand-up comedian, and the flowers for him were for his first steady gig in L.A. They had to be right off-stage behind the curtain so as he came off, the flowers would be presented to him in his hands. My God, I can't believe they were there at just the right time. I was nervous as a cockroach at a tap-dance contest, but everything worked out OK. My fiancee and his friends, for some odd reason, decided to take a cross-country trip to California and back. Just to remind him why he's coming back, I decided to send flowers to him at each of their stops along the way. I sent a total of eight bouquets of yellow flowers, four over and four back. I know it completely embarrassed him in front of his friends, but I figured if he was able to withstand them for that amount of time in that situation, he was the right guy. He was the right guy. After an extended stay in the States, I am prepared to say that I like China better. This is not to say that I would not enjoy a life over there. I think my wife and I could enjoy a life together just about anywhere. But I have to say that I prefer my home country. I have made many friends and learned about many things that I can use now that I am back at home and teaching. One of the things I learned was how to use your website to send good-will gifts, like flowers and plants that people keep in their homes for a time.
