OK. I have to tell someone about this. I was in the running for a good job at a reputable company. After a series of interviews that went OK but not spectacular, the recruiter told me I was a finalist out of five people. I’ve never done this before, but my mother told me to send flowers. Back in the 1980s, there was a flower delivery service associated with a department store that has since been swallowed up by a larger company.
