I decided to be audacious this year and send my boyfriend, who is in Peru with his family for the moment, a series of flower bouquets. One a day for a week until his birthday. I thank you for putting some joy into the life of one of my closest friends. Sadly, she passed away from cancer recently much too young. She often said that it was as if I were there, and she would talk to the flowers as if they were me.
